    SERMON OUTLINES SERMON OUTLINES

"Now that you have put away falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor."—Eph. 4:26.

These 244 sermons are designed to answer the Bible questions most frequently asked around the world. For convenience they are grouped under 60 subject headings. The first line of each sermon, printed in bold italics, is its theme. Themes are so worded that the question the sermon is designed to answer can be easily recognized. For example, the question is asked: "Why has God allowed wickedness to continue so long?" Glance at the "List of Subjects" below. Note the subject heading "59. Wickedness, World Distress." Turn to page 30. Now locate under this subject heading the theme of the sermon best suited to answer. Note theme "D. Why wickedness permitted." The Bible sermon on this theme will answer the question.

It is readily seen that all the 244 sermons are complete in themselves, and any sermon under any of the sixty subjects can be used independently of any other sermon. Sermons can be delivered by using only the first cited Scripture text on each line, but additional citations are listed for use when circumstances permit. The order of the points to be developed in each sermon may be rearranged if circumstances suggest it. Subjects and sermons are numbered to simplify one's making a record of sermons delivered or to be given. Thus, the notation "59D" would refer to the sermon considered above.
