On the Christian's path a shining light appears, Grow-ing bright and bright-er
Though no eye hath seen, nor mortal ear hath heard, All the grace and beauty
There is nothing covered but shall be revealed When the books are opened
with the passing years, 'Tis the light of wisdom from the realms above, Every found in God's pure Word; Yet His Holy Spirit in to truth will guide All the and the rolls un-sealed; So we follow on, to know as we are known, Tow'rd the

We will follow its leading, We will follow its leading all the way: For that
bless-ed shining light Will shine more and still more bright, Even unto the perfect day.

saw all my woes on Im-man-uel laid, And knew by His stripes I was healed...
entered the race for a city of gold, And fled from the pleasures of sin...

I soon will be there, forever to share The glory of Jesus, my Lord

Listen to the voice ce les tial,
Ev 'ry tomb shall be desert ed,
No more widowed hearts re pin ing,
With the living waters flow ing,
Ye whose eyes with weep ing fail,
Harps of ju bi lee shall ring;
No more hun gry, home less souls,
And His saving health made known,
God re veals His gracious pur pose,
"Ruth less grave, where is thy tri umph? Cru el death, where is thy sting?"
When the earth shall bloom as E den,
And the "Prince of Peace" controls;
Ev 'ry cheek with beauty glow ing;
Ev 'ry friend of evil flown.
There will be no hope less sadness,
In the new earth's golden years,
Sing the blest e man ci pa tion,
Ev 'ry creat ure that hath breath,
When the ran somed hosts are sing ing,
Not an ech o of de spair
God will scat ter leaves of healing,
For each loy al heart and brain,
Bliss ful years re plete with gladness, "God shall wipe a way all tears,"
Life shall quick en all cre a tion, There shall thence forth be no death,
In His vast do min ion ring ing, "There shall be no sor row there,"
All His match less love re veal ing, "There shall hence forth be no pain,"

When the crowning day shall come, "Hal-le-lu-jah!" And the angel of the harvest shall bring
When the crowning day shall come, "Hal-le-lu-jah!" And His loving smile with rapt-ure shall thrill
When the crowning day shall come, "Hal-le-lu-jah!" And the saints the judgment scepter shall take,
Oh, the crowning day shall come, "Hal-le-lu-jah!" 'Tis this blessed hope that fill my soul;
All "His jewels" that are sealed in their fore-heads, To the grand eternal home of the King;
All the holy ones who stand with the Bride-groom, On the heights of Zion's glorious hill;
All earth's tyrants and their schemes of op-pression, As a cursed pot-ter's vessel to break;
It is now my daily aim and ambition To be pure, and free from world-ly control;
Oh, what radiance will light every feature, That was once with thorns of suffering scarred;
Then the eyes that see the King in His beauty, Never more a tear of sorrow shall shed;
Then the slaves of error, freed from their blindness, Shall with gladness leave their bondage and strife,
Well assured of external salvation, If the path of consecration I tread,
And what majesty shall crown the "New Creature," When the ever-lasting gates are un-barred.
While the feet that trod the thorn-path of duity, Shall the heights of immortality tread.
And be welcomed by the Spirit of Kindness, To the ever-flowing waters of life.
I am looking for my blest recreation, In the likeness of my heavenly Head.
When the crowning day shall come, "Hal-le-lu-jah!" And the saints of God are gathered above,
"Hal-le-lu-jah! Hal-le-lu-jah!"

Ps. 16:11
M. L. McPhail.
'Tis sweet in the presence of Jesus to dwell, Tho' troubles and trials an noy,
A bun-dantly furnished with grace for our needs, When Satan at-tempts to de-coy,
To work for our Lord is a privi-lege rare, Each moment of time to em-ploy;
O glo-rious prospect—if faithful till death—Of bliss that no foe can de-stroy!
To constantly feel His approval and smiles:—In this there is fullness of joy!
Christ flies to our rescue—to vic-tery leads:—In this there is fullness of joy!
Co-reap-ers with Him in the harvest to share:—In this there is fullness of joy!
Made one with the Bridegroom, all nations to bless:—In this there is fullness of joy!
CHORUS.
Fullness of joy! yes, fullness of joy! Serving our Master with hearts full of joy!
Soon we will finish our work here be-low, With fullness of joy un- to Him we shall go!
